MySpace Careers

Powered By Simply Hired
Fox Interactive Media was part of a recent $13.5 million investment in jobs metasearch site SimplyHired in April. At the time, there was an explicit discussion of the integration of job listings into Fox properties, including MySpace. Now, after several delays, MySpace Careers is launching.

The MySpace integration doesn't contain all the features and functionality found on SimplyHired, in particular the navigation, salary research, personalization and LinkedIn integration. Compare a search for "editor, San Francisco" on MySpace Careers and SimplyHired.

The partnership should be a huge boon to SimplyHired and is sure to see considerable usage given the MySpace demographic (high school, college). Employers will also respond favorably, seeing this as an opportunity to reach a desirable audience of potential applicants.

Here's my earliest post on SimplyHired.
