Danny Sullivan posts that Safa Rashtchy is leaving Piper Jaffray.
When I planned my first local search event, he was the first speaker I approached. And Safa will be speaking at the upcoming Kelsey show next week. That will be his final public appearance, it would appear, in his current incarnation.
He and his team are the source of the recent, massive report: “The User Revolution: The New Advertising Ecosystem and the Rise of the Internet As a Mass Medium” — also the source of the unfortunate term “communitainment.” 
He rose to be one of the stars of the financial analyst community covering the Internet.
