Best of the Web has launched a local site. The site is unremarkable feature and content-wise, but has a few nice design elements:

    Per my post yesterday (shameless plug) the key differentiator for BOTW is that they already have a business relationship with thousands of webmasters and agencies. Most local SEO agencies include BOTW as a must-buy for linkbuilding so it seems like it could be pretty easy to convert a lot of them over to BOTW local. That combined with BOTW’s ability to rank well in Google + a well-SEO’d site means they could start eating away at local search start-ups’ and incumbents’ traffic and client base.
