CityVoter Behind Hearst’s New BayList

It a major metro newspaper debut, CityVoter is behind the just-launched BayList on Hearst’s SF Chronicle site (SFGate):

It will be interesting to see whether the site gains traction (it should). This is more evidence of newspapers pushing deeper into the social media space. And CityVoter’s approach is a way to do that without requiring a big commitment on the part of users or asking them to join another social network.

    Josh and his team really have their act together. I can see them becoming a big addition to newspapers by helping them add social to their marketplace/business directory pages and providing a solid and intuitive way to collect ratings and reviews.
