Over at SEL, Chris Sherman has posted instructions for pitching sessions and speakers for the next SMX Local-Mobile, July 24-25, 2008 in San Francisco (I’m co-chairing the show with him):
Please head over to the SMX pitch form and describe your idea(s) for sessions at the show. Please include:
- Proposed session title
- One paragraph description of the session
- Optional: Speakers who you think are most qualified for this panel
Use the form rather than pitching me in email. If you want to run ideas by me that’s fine. But use the form because there’s a system on the back end tied to it.
Last year was the first SMX Local-Mobile show and it was good. We learned a considerable amount, which should make this year’s show even stronger. There will be a number of sessions devoted to the “outlook” for local and mobile. But the emphasis is on practical and tactical information.
