Farther down I wrote about new a new neighborhood news site EveryBlock, which competes with local blog aggregator and neighborhood guide Outside.in. The latter has now done a deal with the Washington Post to visually locate blog posts and WashPo stories on a map (“Buzz Map“) and microsite powered by Outside.in.

The black circles indicate the location of the content of blog posts and the orange of Washington Post stories. It’s a nice, visual display of information that helps integrate journalism and “citizen journalism.”
