For several years SuperPages has been moving from “Internet yellow pages” to the broader concept of a local shopping site. Along those lines it has added — for the Dallas, Ft. Worth area — content and recommendations from “The Underground Shopper,” a local shopping guide.
In many ways this is analogous to ShopLocal’s Eva The Shopping Diva (who also has a MySpace page), adding personality and a “voice” to otherwise dry listings content.
In addition to the yellow pages database, SuperPages offers content from Shopping.com, eBay and ShopLocal, among other sources.
