Here’s a bunch of stuff I can’t get to:
- Tele Atlas launches 3-D landmarks for maps in Europe, New York and Signapore.
- Canadian local search provider illumiCell offers (in conjunction with YPG data) local search via MSN Messenger.
- European yellow pages publisher World Directories has teamed up with MobilePeople to offer mobile search access to its content.
- Comcast is making a play to be a bigger Internet destination (summarized by Om Malik). The most recent news is an email partnership with Zimbra for Web mail. When will they move in local?
- Toward smaller portable laptops and computing devices (part of my “two device scenario“) thesis. (See also, this release re the Samsung Q1 ultra.)
- And, yes, apparently MySpace is apparently buying Photobucket.
