You’ve heard of the now fairly standard mapping function: send to mobile phone. Now (via Barry at SEL) here’s Google Maps: Send to Car (but you have to have a GPS-enabled BMW and be in Germany). Here’s the video. And here’s the Google Blog announcement.
Dash has a deal with Yahoo to incorporate local listings data and reviews into a dashboard device. It’s also pretty standard for these personal navigation systems to have travel and A&E/local business databases built in.
But “send to car” is a new one.
