Loren Baker at SEJ posted about Hillary Clinton turning to Yahoo! Answers to do a little campaigning and get some feedback from users on health care:
The “cynical” view of this is that this is smart, even shrewd campaigning. A more generous view is that she is truly tapping the “wisdom of crowds” for ideas that she might ultimately integrate into her platform.
If you go to the page and scroll to the answers, most people are making very thoughtful remarks and responses.
Politics is getting more interesting . . .

Fantastic idea. I thought Edwards announcing via web-video was interesting, but using Yahoo Answers to facilitate thought and discussion? I love it. (and umm – I would have thought of it as a fantastic idea from whatever political spectrum the person was on).
