Barry at SEW blogs (based on a Gary Price post) that Google has acquired Wiki site Jotspot, apparently as part of its “productivity suite,” Google Apps for Your Domain + Docs and Spreadsheets.
Jotspot now becomes free as a result of the deal.
Jotspot is an online collaboration tool for businesses and is thus “social.” But Google Groups just added some social, Wiki-like elements itself. What will be the relationship between Jotspot and Google Groups be “going forward?”
