Citysearch: Act II

I met with Citysearch yesterday to get an update on where they are and where they're headed. You can read my write-up of that meeting at SEW.


Update: One of the things that I neglected to put in that post was the "local sales alerts" feature that Citysearch is introducing. I was racing out to a lunch and simply forgot. I wrote about alerts while at The Kelsey Group as an important development across a number of sites. Alerts is something that consumers (who use it) love. But alerts are not widely known or used by consumers — yet. Alerts, however, will merge into "persistent search," which combines the benefits of search intent with push marketing. Just wait and see.
