You’ve heard this: a new book called “The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal,” is just out.
It’s already in production as a movie with an A-list writer and director attached. The script is by Aaron “West Wing” Sorkin. If Sorkin and, reportedly, David Fincher of The Fight Club weren’t attached as director it probably wouldn’t be worth paying any attention to. But it might turn out to be an interesting movie about youth, money, ambition, narcissism and so on.
I have the script if you’re interested in reading it. Because on one level I’m just not interested I haven’t been able to bring myself to read more than a few pages but it appears well written.
I should add that there are always multiple drafts of Hollywood scripts running around and it’s not clear whether this is a shooting script or an earlier draft.
