After a very long time in development, ReachLocal has finally opened its UK office. The release said that Reach serves “12,000 local businesses in over 30 markets around the world, including the UK, US, Canada and Australia.” The UK office will reportedly serve the whole of Western Europe.
Two responses to the quoted text above: that’s fewer customers than I would have thought at this point and more countries than I knew they were in.
Among the various Local SEM firms, I know that WebVisible has an EU presence and I suspect that Yodle has international expansion on its roadmap.
But for the recession I suspect Reach would be speeding toward a public offering.
