Yelp has added video/rich media ads to its site. The one immediately below is for American Express/Tribeca Film Festival. This makes me think we’ll probably see video ads on profile pages soon.
The slide show that is shown in the upper left of the profile page will probably be replaced by video relatively soon. For “national” or brand advertisers the video ad on the homepage is a geotargeted and demographic targeting play.
