Machex has become one of the few “go to” places for third parties who want additional, qualified local traffic. (Local.com is another.) And its growing roster of deals now includes a host of new partners (announced this morning):
Reviews from these sites will be integrated throughout the Marchex local content network of sites and appear in the form of up to 35 words below business listings:

Marchex says that this will add “more than 5 million reviews and ratings to its local network, bringing the total number of reviews and ratings covering local businesses across the United States to more than 8 million.”
Other than Google, OpenList may be the single largest aggregator of local reviews content. The challenge for the site now is to develop a strong brand and personality for longer term direct usage.
