Cyber Moday Sets a Record: $733 Million

I bet if Shop.org had to do it all over again, they’d change the name of Cyber Monday to something else, maybe “Black Monday” or a comparable term. Nonetheless, it appears to have been a success. ComScore reported that single day sales online exceeded $700 million representing approximately 21% YoY growth. Let’s see how sales figures hold up throughout the holiday season.

Half of the sites on this list are so-called “multi-channel” (offline/local) retailers. With the possible exception of Apple (but probably still Apple too) most people are browsing those retailer sites and then buying in the store.
