FastCall411, started by long-time Call Source and later Jambo exec. Richard Rosen, is picking up where his former company Jambo left off. Among other things PPCall provider Jambo was setting up a phone-based local merchant leads system where multiple merchants would be called simultaneously and the first one to respond would be billed accordingly.
FastCall411 is seeking to make good on a version of that unrealized aspiration. Here’s how it works (from the site collateral):
If you have a need, select a category and ZIP code. Then input your phone number (we do not collect and store phone numbers. See our privacy policy). Click the FastCall button.
FastCall411 will simultaneously call multiple merchants, call you back, and connect you to a merchant that is on the phone, ready to take the call.
With FastCall411’s innovative approach, multiple merchants are called at the same time, and the consumer is connected to the one merchant who is ready to help a customer right now! It’s miles ahead for the merchant, who gets a caller wanting service immediately; and miles ahead for the consumer, who wants to talk to someone now!
It’s an interesting model that combines DA and local search with lead-generation for local merchants. It works for either landline calls or in a mobile context. The business is formally launching at the Demo show in September.
