I neglected to post about the company after I spoke recently with CEO Russ Fradin. I don’t remember frankly what I can and cannot say so I have to keep this quite general.
Originally started as a better performing ad network, Adify has found its niche (excuse the expression) as a white-label platform for publishers and entrepreneurs, enabling them to build what amount to vertical ad networks. There are some marquee names as well as small entrepreneurs and startups using the system.
May I never use this phrase again, but the company is aiming to become a marketplace for “Long Tail” advertising, which is only reached right now by AdSense. Geotargeting is one angle here, as well as contextual or demographic targeting.
