eBay Bans Checkout, Shakes Up Management

From collectibles to cars, buy and sell all kinds of items on eBay

As expected, eBay won’t allow Google Checkout. Google doesn’t see PayPal as a competitor, but eBay doesn’t agree. Regarding the management shakeup, here’s the WSJ and TechCrunch.

These moves argue that eBay is feeling pretty frustrated/paranoid/legitimately threatened? Take your pick.

    eBay pioneers in this deal either way. They are already backed by one of the most widely accepted payment methods. Unless Google starts with GAuctions, eBay should not pack their bags just yet.
