ClickTV Joins the Crowd
Michael Arrington on TechCrunch talks about the immiment launch of yet another video/video sharing site, Click.tv, which joins an increasingly crowded field. Like Dabble and YouTube, it allows for tagging and annotations to be added to video content and for that content to be shown on third party sites (as does VideoEgg). The thing that is striking is how video is evolving so quickly and in tandem with community; and breakout sites such as YouTube (which has its share of IP/copyright issues to contend with) have grown dramatically because of their viral/sharing community features.
As the recent OPA video report indicated, sharing/tagging/email are among the main ways that people discover online video.
You've got to believe that Yahoo! will eventually be picking up one of these video-community startups to add to its Flickrfolio.

TechCrunch reports on photo and video hosting site photobucket. I had never heard of the site, but their traffic and hosting is significant.
